早先路透社就有报道，随着网上购物的客户越来越多，梅西百货（Macy's Inc）将于2016年初将关闭35-40家表现不佳的店，虽然是“令人失望”的表现，但是每年可以削减4亿美元的成本。

随之而来的就是这些店的清仓大甩卖，1月11日起持续8-12周，没错，周一就开始啦，包括衣服丶鞋子丶包包等，价格可能低至1折，比“黑五”还要划算，剁手族们抓紧时机吧。

Macy's 星期三宣布2016年初全国即将会关店36间，其中包括2间在麻省分别是Eastfield Mall Springfield, MA, 和 Berkshire Mall Lanesborough, MA。
一下子关了这么多店，原因很明显，对2015年的销售量非常失望，加上2016年新的一年最低工资涨了，租费涨了，其它也都涨了。
Macy’s 表示，关店后可令集团节省约4亿美元，约3,000名员工将受影响，当中约一半会被调至其他岗位工作。
最后他们提出一点，最重要的一点，如果你刚好住在附近的，可以去清货了！
全场最后清货日子在下周一1/11日开始，一直延迟8到12个礼拜，早到早得！！！

• Westfield Century City, Los Angeles, CA (136,000 square feet; opened in 1976; 108 associates). Note that this store will be closed in January 2016 and replaced with a new, larger store to open in this same shopping center in spring 2017
