女人的房間

彭怡平，國立台灣大學歷史系畢業，法國巴黎第一大學造型藝術所電影電視系博士，視覺藝術家。從事跨領域的藝術創作，兼具藝術家、攝影家、作家、策展人、紀錄片導演等多重身份。在本次講座，作者將講述她源於真實體驗與各國家庭生活觀照而出版的《女人的房間》；她於1993至2016年間走訪五十多個國度，探討父權統治以及空間結構與性別權利之間的關係。

A Talk on Heroom

Pong Yi Ping is a visual artist, photographer, author, curator, documentary, director. For more than twenty years, PONG investigates the spatial structure and power relation between patriarchal politics and matriarchal predominance after personally visiting more than fifty countries from 1993 to 2016. PONG has witnessed a common reality, which is that most women might not own a room of their own throughout their lives. Through her works, PONG hopes to reexamine the symbol of "women", what it signifies in society, as well as how to construct a selfimage through "space", while deconstructing social confinement. Heroom is not only a symbol of women's right and freedom but also a world for women to display their imagination and fantasy.
